Swimming at Bicester on Monday's

3rd April 2018

Monday Evening Swimming

You may or not be aware that the Bicester Sports Centre over the years, has allocated specifically for scouting, the main swimming pool for an hour each Monday evening. The main requirement is we have to use it or we will loose it, basic supply and demand. We at 1st Bicester over many years have taken up the challenge to use the pool on a regular basis and will continue to do so, as we think it would be a great loss to ourselves and scouting in the District if the facility was not there in the future.

There is a great opportunity for your youngsters to work toward their stage swimming badges, build up team work, set themselves a personal challenge or simply just to have fun.

Those groups that occasionally use the pool will know that we are limited to space, so to get the most out of the hour session it is essential that each section books beforehand, rather than just turn up. This should be done through me on gerhard.1@hotmail.co.uk and not through the sports centre.

The session is from 17:05 to 18:00 each Monday during school term time, admission is 1.75 and a 1.00 coin, returnable, for the use of a locker.

I look forward to hearing from you in the near future to make the most of this opportunity.

All the best

Gerhard
